Where was the electric cowboy festival?

Holidays and Traditions

The Electric Cowboy Festival was in Columbia Tennessee. I think it was in 1984 buy I'm not sure about the date. It was a 3 day camp out concert that was like the Bonaroo that they have in Tennessee now, only better. Would like to have Pics if anyone remembers.

It was held July 4th weekend 1978. Well they must have had 2 of them as I would have only been 14 in 1978 and since I was there and I was't 14 they must of had another one around 1984. I pulled out my ticket stub and at least one of the Electric Cowboy Festivals was held on September 3rd, 4th and 5th, 1983. I was the photographer for the Electric Cowboy Festival and it was 1983. I have a couple of great shots from the festival posted including Leon Russell at my website
