If you want to keep your pie from collapsing, do these three things: 1) add 1 table spoon corn starch to thicken the batter; 2) add 1 tea spoon salt to keep the batter from foaming; C) used sweetened condensed milk instead of cream so less moisture escapes from the pie while it's baked.
