How did candy get in to Halloween?

Halloween
Candy

So, basically, some dude was walking in a neighborhood where there was nobody with black or brown hair, so pretty much everybody was blond. Then, one day, a black cat passed his yard. The cat looked like a stray, and the dude thought that that cat was a sign of bad luck. To make himself feel better, he gave candy to all of the neighborhood children.

So, that's the story. Hope this helps! :)
