What mistakes beginners make in stretching training?

The most common mistake that do newbies, this is primarily impatience. Stretching is a fairly lengthy process. The second mistake is that many people put themselves in the status of I am a tree and nothing will work out for me. It will definitely work out! Yes, you may not sit on the split right away, but you will certainly do something useful for your body and feel improvements and ease in movements.

And third: many try to simplify their task and stretch crookedly and with bent knees, which, of course, is less painful. The consequence is, for example, a crooked twine. Lighter is not better.

Stretch at least three times a week. If the goal is twine, then you should do it at least every other day. But it is better to devote at least an hour and a half of your time to stretching every day.

How long will it take to do the splits?

On average, this is six months. But it is possible to do it much faster. There are many factors on which this depends. Once you get used to the pain of stretching, the process goes faster.

Where to start with?

For most people, the longitudinal split is easier. This is due to the fact that the longitudinal twine does not require eversion in the joints. But it's better to pull both at once! Breaking bad, so to speak.

Will it be easier for me to sit on the split if I have already sat on it?

In fact, there is no difference. It's just that it's psychologically easier for those who already know what it is - they are familiar with these painful sensations. But if the skill was lost several years ago, then you have to work first. If you just had a short break, then everything is easier.

Stretching can be done at any age.
As in gymnastics, the recommended age for starting classes is about 3.5 years.

What should the training consist of?

I decided to include the strength part in my training, because .to. many are too lazy to study at home. My workout program is suitable for everyone who wants to pull up and stretch, if there are no restrictions for health reasons. The workout consists of the strength part - exercises for the legs, buttocks, abs and back. And then a good complex stretching.

How long does the workout last?

The workout lasts 45 minutes - an hour. I always look at the state of the guys and, based on what I see, I build a workout.

Is it possible to lose weight by stretching?

This is the most popular question! Stretching is physical activity. Accordingly, from training all metabolic processes in the body are accelerated. Visible results in terms of weight loss should not be expected, but it will help to tighten your figure and tone yourself! It must be remembered that for global changes you should include strength and adjust nutrition.

What to wear for stretching training?

You can practice both in shorts and leggings, the main thing is to be comfortable, and the material of the sports uniform stretches well. If this is just stretching, without strength, then you can do without sneakers.

- train yourself to be regular,
- try to relax while stretching,
- breathe correctly, stretched I do it on the exhale,
- make sure that during stretching the legs are not bent at the knees (when the exercise requires a straight position of the legs) and do not hunch your back,
- be patient! Everything will work out.
