Kuznetsov's applicator: why a Soviet invention is worth having at home now
Iplikator or, as it is often called, Kuznetsov's applicator was invented in the late 1970s. In the USSR, more than 75 million sets of needle rugs were sold, the cost of which was one ruble. Now such massagers are becoming popular again. It is believed that they help with a variety of ailments: just apply an iplikator, apply pressure within the limits of pain tolerance and do it regularly.

Popular invention of a Soviet music teacher
In the late 1970s, a music teacher from Chelyabinsk, Ivan Kuznetsov, became a folk healer. He treated himself, but it turned out that his invention spread throughout the Soviet Union. In the second half of the 1980s, kits sold in the millions! They were even sold in grocery stores.
Kuznetsov's modern iplikator, which is often called the Tibetan applicator, is most often a fabric rug. Inside it is soft filler, and the surface is completely covered with round or square double-pronged plates. They are what distinguishes Kuznetsov's applicator from other massagers.
Interestingly, the first iplikator was a piece of styrofoam with needles stuck into it in a certain order. Kuznetsov independently studied acupuncture and reflexology, and in his invention he applied all the acquired knowledge and practical experience. The massager acts on an area of the body, and not on a specific point.
It is enough to apply the applicator to the problem areas with the teeth, pressing until the pain threshold. The needles stimulate blood circulation, the distribution of oxygen and nutrients throughout the body is more active.

Why is Kuznetsov's applicator useful?
Manufacturers in indications for use write that the needle massager has the widest spectrum of action. It relaxes muscles, has an analgesic effect, has a positive effect on the nervous system, accelerates blood flow and metabolic processes, improves the condition of the skin, relieves headaches.
It is most often used in case of problems with the musculoskeletal system, scoliosis , radiculitis, osteochondrosis, curvature of the spine and for the treatment of flat feet. The reviews of people who regularly use Kuznetsov's iplikator say that it helps with diseases of the endocrine system and respiratory organs and even eliminates problems with the genitals and increases sexual desire.
But it is definitely not necessary to claim that this is a panacea for all ills. Even the inventor of the applicator himself said that this is more prevention than cure. it is more important to prevent ailment than to cure it later. But if someone really solved health problems with the help of such a massager, great.

Types of needle massagers
Kuznetsov's applicators are of four types in color and three types in shape: green and red needle plates are less sharp, blue and yellow - on the contrary, green and red applicators are designed for sensitive skin, yellow and blue - for intense exposure. Some have magnetic inserts that should enhance the effect.
The iplikators are shaped like rugs, rollers and belts. Each of the massagers is designed for a specific area of the body. You can lie, stand or walk on rugs. The belts are worn with Velcro, and the rollers are placed under the neck or under the legs.
By the way, today there are many variations of applicators, so do not be surprised if you see completely different spikes or colors in stores. Each of them has its own advantages, but it was Kuznetsov's iplikator that served as a prototype for creating new versions of the miraculous rugs.
Can the iplikator do harm?
You should not abuse massage sessions on the Kuznetsov iplikator. There is no need to think that you will become a yogi with its help. It is important to read the instructions - all kits are supplied with it. There are also contraindications:
