Americano is prepared as a doppio - a double espresso and then diluted with hot water in a 1: 1 ratio. Cappuccino

The name goes back to the Italian monastic order of the Capuchins, who loved coffee with milk. Because of the similarity of their robes - a brown robe with a high hood - with a milk cap of coffee, the drink soon became known as cappuccino.

The cup contains espresso, hot milk and milk foam in equal proportions, and the main art is to keep the border between coffee and whipped milk. Cappuccino is served at 55 degrees in a warm cup, often topped with cinnamon. Initially, one cup was 90 ml, but now the more common serving is 150-180 ml.

Latte

Australians and New Zealanders before they still argue about who invented the drink, which eventually became popular around the world. One thing is clear - in the 1980s, one after another, coffee shops began to prepare a new type of coffee, somewhat similar to latte and cappuccino. A portion of the doppio was mixed with slightly frothed milk. The drink had a more pronounced coffee flavor than a latte, and a special velvety foam, less thick than a cappuccino.
