Debriefing: How to Choose the Right Fitness Equipment?

It is not an easy task to look stylish and beautiful during training. And to feel comfortable at the same time is just a mission on the verge of fantasy. But we know how to fix it. Together with the stylist Evgenia Postnikova , we have prepared for you 5 successful and unsuccessful looks for training in the gym. We analyze common mistakes and get inspired by ideal combinations.

Remember that there are no bad sports clothes, there are clothes worn at the wrong workout or at the wrong time.

The first image is most convenient for various types of loads during training. The sports bra allows you to perform movements that do not restrain your hands, run, do cardio. If we put on a polyester upper, as in the second option, for training in the gym, it will not be functional: we will sweat quickly and we will be uncomfortable.

Summary: for training in indoors, choose the lightest clothing possible. A supportive bra or crop top will look very organic in tandem with high-waisted leggings. Such an image will emphasize the natural curves of the body and will not hinder movement.

It is important to understand that there are sportswear for training in the gym, there are clothes for outdoor activities, and there is a sporty style. Many people confuse these concepts and do things in the gym that are not intended for training. A warm sweatshirt or sweatshirt is the very element of clothing that belongs to a sporty style. It will look great on a trip or on a walk, but not in a gym.

Choose the right shoes ... Likewise, there are sneakers designed for the gym, for running or outdoor workouts, and of course, just stylish sneakers that are not designed for sports. They should not be confused. First of all, the foot is deformed from poorly chosen shoes, and if you run, jump or load your legs intensively using the wrong sneakers, it will be very easy to get injured.

In sneakers intended for the gym, it is also extremely undesirable to walk on street. They are usually very light, with thin soles, and you can easily get your feet wet in any rainfall.

Summary: It is important to use shoes as intended.

The sweatshirt in the second look is also more suitable for outdoor training.

Life hack: always read labels, manufacturers usually indicate what type of workout a particular item is intended for.

Clothes should be in size. Many girls are self-deceived and buy XS in size S. This constrains the movement, because of which he suffers, and the result of the training process is reduced to nothing. The same effect is observed with larger clothing. Since almost all sportswear is made of polyester and elastane, it fits the figure quite tightly and has a corrective function. If the item fits correctly, you will feel comfortable.

My favorite form is leggings and crop top or sports bra. This is the option when you want to do a variety of activities, and do not want to bother with clothes. In this form, it is quite convenient to run and do strength training.

In turn, I wear a sweater or long sleeve with long sleeves for street workouts. After all, just as one cannot overheat in the hall, one cannot overcool on the street. After a run, you can easily freeze, get sick and nullify the benefits of training. Therefore, the second option (pictured) is also appropriate, but not in the format of a fitness room.

We would like to express our gratitude for the help in conducting and organizing the shooting of Welness club Nebo.
