On July 18, 2017, at 9 a.m., the ultra-marathon road multi-day Red Bull Trans-Siberian Extreme cycling race starts from Revolution Square in Moscow. Participants will ride bicycles along the legendary Trans-Siberian Railway. The longest cycling race in the world will be held in 14 stages from 319 to 1372 km long.

For the first time in the history of the race, 2 women will take the start: Fursday Jerwals-Dubina (USA) and Shangrila Rendon (Philippines).

The bicycle race will pass through Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Chita, Svobodny, Khabarovsk and will finish on August 10 in Vladivostok. Participants will have to cross 5 climatic and 8 time zones, more than 80 km of ascents and spend more than three weeks in the saddle.
