LOSE 1 INCH A DAY in YOUR WAIST: Clean Out Your GUT & Lose Weight | Does It Work? *Re-Upload
An unusual method of cleaning in the refrigerator helped the trainer lose 45 kg
How often do we hear (and sometimes even from ourselves) the phrase: If I had the willpower, I would not eat so many harmful things. But did you know that it is the reliance on willpower that often leads to disastrous results in achieving your goals?
It turns out that the choice of those products that we consume does not so much depend on motivation and willpower, but on the environment that surrounds us. A simple experiment conducted by the future trainer of Precision Nutrition Dominic Matteo proves this perfectly.
What is the essence of the experiment?
To complete it, you will have to complete the general cleaning the kitchen. Think you need to scrub the floors and wipe down the stove? You are wrong. First, you need to sort out the products that are stored in your cabinets and refrigerator. Then - to dispose of some of them according to a certain principle. This approach will help you rethink your diet and re-examine what is holding you back in shape.
So what steps should you take during this cleaning?
1. Divide foods
Think of a traffic light and divide your foods into groups - red, yellow and green. And no, their color scheme has nothing to do with it. The red ones include those positions that give you discomfort and, as you think, interfere on the way to possessing the ideal figure. Add to this list products that:
- hinder the achievement of the goal;
- contribute to your overeating;
- cause you allergies;
- cause stomach pain;
- don't like it anymore.
The yellow list should include those foods that you think are not very useful, but you can eat them in small quantities and stop.
The green grocery basket is those items that are useful , you can eat them in reasonable amounts and not overeat.
2. Take out the basket
I mean, trash. It comes in handy for red foods that have to be ruthlessly disposed of. Well, or another option is to transfer it to the homeless or just the needy. And we don't buy them anymore. At least in the near future.
We remove the yellow group further away. You can find a special drawer for them, a thermal bag, or select the topmost shelf. Let them stand there, away from eyes.
But we buy more frozen food and fill the refrigerator with them. Of course, here it is also important to know when to stop, so that, for example, vegetables simply do not go bad if you do not have time to eat them. Always have these foods available for a snack. Experts advise peeling oranges in advance, buying small carrots, hard-boiling eggs.
Monitor your behavior throughout the week. HwaDoes a healthy snack melt for you or does it always pull you to the top shelf for a yellow one? Do you want to break loose and go into the night in search of the forbidden? Most often - laziness.
The bottom line is that the environment around us is often conducive to overeating. We are sure that those whose office has moved to the kitchen in self-isolation have a particularly hard time. The refrigerator is always at hand.
This phenomenon now there is even a name - Berardi's First Law.
It says: If some food is in your home, then you (someone you love, or someone you can hardly bear, but he lives in your house) sooner or later eat them. But no less interesting is the consequence of it: If healthy foods are in your home, then you (someone you love, or someone whom you can hardly bear) will eat them sooner or later.
By the way, after a week's experiment, Matteo continued to follow this nutritional system and lost 45 kg, which allowed him to become a coach in a large company.
